Bill Payment

Marion County Rural Water District offers a variety of convenient payment options for our customers. Simply choose the option that best suits your needs.

Payment Online

We are excited to offer our customers the option to pay their bill online through our provider, PayStar. You may pay your bill 24/7 by using a Debit or Credit Card. They accept Master Card, Visa and Discover. Just click the green "Pay Your Bill Now" button located to the right to get started. Make sure this is your correct water provider before you pay. Have your account number available and follow the prompts. Paystar does charge a small convenience fee to use this service.

Payment By Mail

If paying by personal check or money order through the mail, please send all payments with your payment coupon. To avoid mail delays, it would be best to mail your payment at least five to seven business days before the due date specified on your bill. However, if your bill has a postmark date of the 15th by the postoffice, you will not be charged the late fee.

Automatic Bank Draft

This is the worry-free way to pay your water bill. With this service, the amount of your monthly bill is automatically deducted from your checking account and credited to your water account on the 10th of each month. There is no set-up fee or charge associated with this method of payment. To set up autopayments, simply download and fill out the Automated Bank Draft form located at the bottom of this page. You will also find it in the Forms & Reports section. Return the authorization form to our office, along with a voided check or a verification of account from your financial institution with your preprinted routing and account number on it. Deposit slips can't be accepted for this transaction. The form and voided check/bank verification may also be emailed ([email protected]) or faxed (641-842-6136).

Payment Drop-off Location

We have two ways to pay your bill on-location:  in person at our office address during business hours (A payment drop box in located just inside the main entrance to your right) or using the convenient silver drop box located along the east driveway entrance, which is available 24/7. The box payments are collected at the end of every business day. We accept cash, check, and money orders. With these options, to avoid the late fee, payments must be received by 4:00 pm on the due date, or the next business day should the due date fall on a weekend or holiday.

Payment Through Financial Institution Online Bill Pay

Many financial institutions offer their customers the ability to pay their bills via an online bill payment service (through your bank's website). Normally, these services debit the customer's checking or savings account to pay the bill. Depending on the financial institution, they may or may not charge a fee for the service (check with your financial institution). Payments may take up to twelve business days to post to the customer's account, due to the bank's processing system, which leaves MCRWD waiting on the arrival of a paper check from your institution. Therefore, to avoid the late fee, this payment must be received in our office by the 15th, the postmark rule does not apply to these types of payments since they are processed in a different manner and usually have no postmark date on them. Please consult with your bank for more information.

DOXO

Today there are many means for paying your bills online and through apps. MCRWD also accepts direct payments through doxo. MCRWD is not promoting this speciific method nor responsible for their transaction process. Any questions you have about doxo should be directed to their customer support channels - chat, email or phone at:  support.doxo.com
